Stewardship of Time and Talent: Finding Your Gifts

Thurs., Nov. 18, 7-9 pm or Saturday Nov. 20, 9-11am
facilitated by Leigh Emrick
Each of us is created uniquely by God with gifts and talents to be used for the good of all.  This session will present an overview of Living Your Strengths: Discover Your God-Given Talents and Inspire Your Community and the Clifton StrengthsFinder®.  Together we will begin something new and exciting!  Each of us is likely to discover something about ourselves and others; we may deepen our relationship with God, and our relationships with family, friends, and co-workers will be influenced as well. Some of us may discover new ways to apply ourselves in the activities that make up our lives, at home, at work, in service. Through our sharing we will see God's blessings in our midst.  Four follow-up sessions will be offered.

Baptized and Confirmed, Now What?: Being Christian in Public

Sunday, February 13, 2011
facilitated by Cathy Olds
The coming of Jesus as one like us brings hope to all humanity. As disciples of Jesus we are called to bring light and hope to the world. But how do we do that and where do we start, especially when we're feeling small and discouraged? Our church and scripture gives us powerful words that encourage and inspire us to build the reign of God in the world. Let's explore together ways we can put into action this vision of hope and love for our neighbor.

Listening for God

Sunday, March 27, 2011
facilitated by Cathy Olds
If we are all called by God, how do we hear that call in our lives? God speaks to each of us in a particular way, sometimes loudly and sometimes in a whisper. This Sunday we will reflect on ways to listen for God in our lives and explore the ways we respond with our chosen paths. We will share stories of vocation to marriage and family, consecrated religious life, priesthood and ways to live a spiritual single life.

Lead Me, Guide Me: Searching for the Spirit in our lives
