At St. Andrew the Apostle Church, the Good Samaritan ministry assists persons with various needs. Good Samaritan ministers assist with our very busy and acclaimed parish food pantry – they likewise help by handling requests for other needs – such as basic rent and/or assistance with utilities payments.

Special, Good Samaritan projects include periodic preparation of meals for transitional living centers, for a domestic violence shelter, and/or for homeless shelters. The Good Samaritans also coordinate St. Andrew's-sponsored community project, like our annual the Thanksgiving Food Drive and Lenten soup suppers.
