St. Andrew's Job Networking Group

Leigh Emrick
Coordinator of Stewardship and Communication, Bulletin Editor

(480) 899-1990 ext. 104

Since its founding in 2002, the St. Andrews Job Networking Group has provided a forum for job seekers to meet and share leads, contacts and insights into the current Phoenix metropolitan area employment market.

Meetings are held weekly on Wednesday at 9:00am in Room A at the St. Andrew the Apostle church, which has generously provided the meeting space for that purpose. No need to RSVP for meetings.

This web page aims to promote the Job Network Group members' skills and qualifications to the St. Andrews community in the interest of finding potential employment opportunities, recommendations or referrals.

We deeply appreciate St. Andrew's ongoing support and sincerely hope we can work together toward everyone's mutual benefit.

Hi, and welcome to St. Andrews Job Networking. We have designed this site to help you to build your business by having the ability to recruit top talent without the hassles of job boards, job fairs, and paying outside recruiters to help you find good and talented employees.

My name is Tom Hindelang and I am a business owner and group moderator for the St. Andrews Job Networking Group. In 2001, after working for a fortune 100 company for 17 years, I was laid off due to the recession. At that time there was very little support for job seekers in the Phoenix area and because I had not searched for a job in 17 years I was totally lost. I did find a job support group through St. Timothy's Catholic Church in Mesa. From that group I learned the importance of job networking and in fact landed my next job in a local bank by networking with an employee. From that experience I vowed to give back to a group similar to St. Timothy's.

In 2003 I heard about the St. Andrews Job Networking Group and also learned they were looking for someone to moderate the group and I have been moderating the group since that time. Thanks for visiting.
