How To Read the Bible
Posted by admin in B-Cause Questions & Answers on April 30th, 2009
QUESTION:
How do you read the Bible? I never got taught on how to read the Bible. Can you please help me?
ANSWER:
Thanks for the great question. Catholics believe that the Bible is the Word of God. “We venerate the Scriptures, as we venerate the Lord’s Body.” (CCC103) We believe that the Bible is both human and divine. God worked through human authors and their natural talents to teach us about Himself and His saving plan for humanity.
Warrants for Friends’ Arrest

QUESTION:
I have five or six friends that have police warrants for them. They have been my friends since second grade. We’re in our last year of High School. I know where they live but I don’t want to hand them over to the police because I don’t want them to give them my name and told them that I handed them over. What should I do?
ANSWER:
That is a tough situation that you are in for sure. How do you know that there are warrants for their arrest? Is this accurate information or just a rumor you “heard?” Did one of them tell you this? This is important to know before you make any decisions or accusations. You must know for a fact that they are guilty of what they are accused of doing.

QUESTION:
I just got a call to go to play for ASU women’s basketball on a a four year scholarship but I’m afraid of what my parents would say. My parents are not really supportive of college since neither of them went. Should I skip out on the scholarship or should I go for?
ANSWER:
Wow! Congratulations to you! The best course of action would be to have your parents and you meet with those in charge of ASU Basketball to sit down and answer any of the questions or concerns that you all have. Your parents could get a chance to ask what is on their mind and also sort out any concerns that they might have about you going and playing on a college level.
